As a remote company, we value the time we spend in person as a team. A few times a year, the Prominence team comes together at our Summits to become stronger as a team while establishing goals, addressing challenges, and discovering new ways to move mountains for our clients! With a team that stretches from coast to coast, gathering in person a few times a year contributes to our strong sense of camaraderie.
This week, our team gathered in Chicago, IL, for our first 2023 Summit. For many team members, this is their first chance to meet their team in person, and it’s an experience we find vital to our strong culture! These Summits include breakout time for each team and all-team meetings to address larger topics. Teams complete bonding activities and work toward solving some of their toughest challenges in person.
One of the highlights includes an afternoon at the Morton Arboretum, which is a tree, plant, and flower conservatory with naturally beautiful landscapes. The team explored beautiful gardens and 16 miles of walking trails for the more adventurous. In between our nature walks, team members explored industry topics, like IDP, ChatGPT, and more to grow in knowledge and be able to better serve our clients. At our Summits, we trade sharing our screens for in-person presentations, engaging in meaningful discussions and brainstorms about the industry.
Not only did we spend time in the great outdoors, but we also spent time in some friendly competition at Puttshack. The team put their mini golf skills to the test at this new and innovative mini golf facility, including features like mini golf !
This in-person time energizes the team to move mountains and acts as a way to accelerate our progress throughout the year! As a fully remote company, we truly value this time to come together.
