Moving Mountains – and Climbing Them – at our Scottsdale Summit!11/15/2023
Our team recently gathered in Scottsdale, Arizona, for our second Summit of 2023. This was an incredible experience for our team to get together in person, planning for our future while bonding as a team! As a remote team with colleagues across the country, the Prominence team recognizes the unique power in face-to-face interactions. Beyond the picturesque backdrop and the team camaraderie, our bi-annual Summits serve as a place where we conquer challenges and move mountains. At this Summit, our team had the unique experience of figuring out how we can move mountains for our clients while hiking an actual mountain as a team!
Our Summit began with a team hike up Piestewa Peak. As we navigated the trails, the shared endeavor created a powerful connection among team members, reinforcing our dedication to the common goal of moving mountains for our clients. The hike allowed our team to explore the beautiful Arizona landscape while getting to know each other better.
Overcoming challenges with healthcare IT can seem like summiting a mountain. Our team continues to act as an experienced guide and trusted partner to create efficient, creative, and sustainable solutions to healthcare’s toughest problems.
The Summit allowed us to gather as a team to discuss the future of Prominence Advisors, working through the challenges our team faces and planning for long-term growth and success. Empowered by our growth and successes, this experience allows us to identify opportunities for further growth and development. Our teams were able to tackle some of their largest challenges and create a roadmap to success. We thrive in our remote environment, but we truly value the chance to brainstorm and find inspiration to solve healthcare’s toughest problems face-to-face.
We gathered at the Desert Botanical Gardens to explore the Arizona landscape while examining the future of healthcare. We took part in many brainstorming and breakout sessions aimed at identifying areas of need and opportunities to solve our customers’ problems. In addition to our planning and strategy sessions, the team had the chance to partake in group bonding activities, taking a break from solving business problems to determine how to build the tallest paper tower!
The pinnacle of our Summit experience unfolded at the Phoenix Suns vs. LA Lakers game, where the Prominence team got to experience team warm-ups from an exclusive vantage point, discuss the future of analytics with some members of the Suns’ Analytics team, and explore the court after the game. Our discussion with some of the Suns’ analytics team members provided valuable insight into the world of sports analytics and how, at its core, the principles of analytics are applicable in various industries.
From conquering literal mountains to strategizing in the vastness of the desert and engaging with the dynamic world of sports analytics, every moment contributed to our growth as a team. Thank you to our team for another great Summit!
