One of our notable contributions was speaking at a track session with UK HealthCare (UKHC) to discuss their Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Modernization efforts. This collaboration detailed how UKHC is laying the groundwork for scalable and predictive analytics, aimed at improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency. This initiative underscores the broader shift within the healthcare industry toward leveraging cloud-based solutions to elevate data capabilities. In our session titled “Modernized EDW: On-Prem to Cloud Enablement of Enterprise Analytics,” attendees will delve into the strategic objectives and methodologies behind this significant modernization project. Led by Roshan Hussain, Chief Data Officer at UK HealthCare, and Austin Montgomery, Vice President of Services at Prominence Advisors, this presentation will provide valuable insights into the full spectrum of the migration process. Highlights of the project include configuring the Azure EDW environment, establishing an AI and ML architecture, and developing de-identified datasets crucial for research.

Additionally, a real-time, bi-directional interface with Epic ensures that advanced analytics and actionable insights seamlessly integrate into clinicians’ workflows, further enhancing decision-making processes.
