The Prominence Advisors culture team has introduced something exciting and fun this year: Pod Spirit Week!

For the first time, the Prominence Pods participated in this week-long extravaganza.  It’s a dedicated time aimed at strengthening bonds within our Pods and amplifying our Prominence spirit like never before.

From April 8th to 12th, each day was marked by unique activities aimed at fostering teamwork, showcasing individuality, and embodying the company’s core values.

Monday – Hometown Headlines: The week commenced with a global journey of discovery as employees shared tales from their hometowns. From bustling metropolises to rural towns, anecdotes ranged from the quirky to the heartwarming, reflecting the diverse backgrounds of Prominence’s workforce. This celebration of cultural diversity enriched our understanding of each other and reinforced our commitment to fostering inclusivity and embracing varied perspectives.

Tuesday – Desk Guessing Contest: Desks transformed into personalized havens reflecting the unique personalities of their owners. From cherished family photos to quirky trinkets, each workstation served as a canvas for self-expression, embodying the spirit of creativity and innovation that defines Prominence’s culture. This activity brought a burst of color and personality to our workspace and fostered a sense of belonging and camaraderie among team members. As a fully remote organization, this exercise allowed our team to see beyond the limited views of a Zoom background and connect on a more personal level.

Wednesday – Team Tattoos or Shoes: Employees showcased their personal style through tattoos and footwear, sparking conversations and connections across the organization. From intricately inked designs to well-worn sneakers with tales to tell, team members shared glimpses of their passions and interests, reinforcing the notion that every voice is valued at Prominence. This celebration of individuality not only encouraged self-expression but also fostered a deeper understanding and appreciation of our colleagues’ unique perspectives and backgrounds.

Thursday – Pod Cookbook: Culinary creativity took center stage as employees shared their favorite recipes and meal pictures. From tantalizing treats to comfort classics, the virtual kitchen became a hub of culinary inspiration, fostering teamwork and cooperation as colleagues exchanged cooking tips and shared their love for good food. This activity brought the team together over a shared appreciation for delicious cuisine and exemplified our commitment to collaboration and innovation.

Friday – Prominence Pride: The week culminated in a vibrant display of company pride as employees donned their favorite Prominence teal attire. From vibrant shirts to stylish accessories, the sea of teal symbolized unity and solidarity, reinforcing the shared values that define Prominence’s culture. This collective demonstration of pride celebrated our shared identity as Prominence employees and underscored the importance of community and collaboration in achieving our goals.

As the week drew to a close, employees gathered for an All Team Call, reflecting on the memorable moments and meaningful connections forged during Pod Spirit Week. From heartfelt anecdotes to contagious laughter, the event served as a testament to the strength of community and the spirit of collaboration that permeates the organization.
